Why is Michigan Football struggling under Head Coach Rich Rodriguez?
I believe it is coaching and defense as well. All Michigan fans are so big on Tate Forcier that it's not even funny. The problem is he is a pro-style quarterback. He can throw, thrown on the run, and can make some moves in the open field. I will be surprised if he stays past his Junior year. I think he will be tempted by the money and leave to the NFL. For that reason, (like you said) he may not be the answer. All these Michigan fans are getting fired up over nothing. They are 5-5 with 3 of their wins coming off of very bad division 1 teams and a terrible division 2 team. Honestly, if they played anyone right now, they could be 2-8. Something else I would like to say is that they play 8 of their 12 games at home. Michigan seriously is not as good as everyone says. I agree with firing Rich Rod. For one reason I am an Ohio State fan so i love to watch Michigan struggle. The other reason is for two years in a row the team may not become bowl eligible. (Pending on the wisconsin and ohio state games). The last reason is the NCAA investigation. In Rich Rod's contract I think it states that if the program is found to be guilty on a major NCAA violation he gets fired. This could also be affecting his coaching decisions. So in the end Ohio State is gonna cream Michigan so I say they give Rich Rod one more year then if he doesn't show what he is capable of they fire him.
