ok i'm not good with guys but i am a guy so if u ask me he doesn't mean you're not pretty he means he likes you for your looks and your personality he is more or less saying he likes everything about you but with the other girl he only like her looks my girlfriends parents hated me but we have been together for two years so any relationship can work as long as he doesn't let his parent's influence him the only people that should matter to the two of you are each other good luck and i hope i helped i wish you the best.
