Can anyone answer a legal question?

A semi hit ran a red yesterday and plowed into my car, sending me through a fence. I am very badly banged up and I've been having nightmares. I've been looking on attorney websites and they say that they handle "serious medical damages" for accident victims. If mine isn't that serious does that mean they won't take my case? Anyone know?
