What is the punishment if you are a cashier in retail, and you overpay a customer?

I'm pretty sure it was just me being gullible, the guy was most likely scamming me in retrospect, he was making me count a lot of things and asking for change, i just wanted to get off work. I think I gave him about 200$. This was the end of my shift of 8 hours and i was tired. What is gonna happen to me?
