Should I try and get my old job back?

Ok, I worked at a bingo hall for 3 years and absolutely loved it! It has been 2 years since I was employed there. In the last month of my employment with them, I found a position that was paying better, and it was closer to home. In the end I was "let go" because of me having two jobs. I went by there yesterday, and most of my old co-workers were there. They all said they had missed me and that they would give my old boss my number. I am definitely nervous, but everyone said that I pretty much left there on good terms. I guess I just wanted some opinions. I am hoping he calls me tomorrow, since today is the 4th. I miss that job terribly, and I am currently out of work.
